Scope of The School
The course has a clear practical vocation and addresses a subject that is not normally covered by PhD courses. Applicants should be PhD or MSc students in biology, physics, chemistry or material science. Postdocs and Industrial researchers are also invited to apply. The main objectives of the school are:
-
To present the enormous potential that neutron techniques (unobtainable using other techniques) provide for the resolution of scientific problems within areas such as nano and biosciences.
-
To show the nano and bio scientific communities the procedures required to access large neutron facilities.
-
To build synergies between the course professors and the students attending the course to ensure that the students are capable of promoting experiments with neutron techniques.
The course will be officially recognized by the University of Zaragoza. Official language of the couse is English. Places are limited.
